Choosing the right link building campaign for your web site

When you start a new web site, there are several things that you must worry about. The first stage is the design and making sure that it fits your audience. After you have that down, you must worry about how you are going to get your audience to find the site. Will it be from advertising through a CPC service such as Google? Or will it be through the SEO process? One can be more expensive, but get quicker results. The other can be slower but earn more in the long term. If you choose to go with SEO, then you must worry about starting a new link building campaign dedicated to this brand-new site. There are many different ways that you can have a successful link campaign, we will go over a couple. It is up to you to choose which one will work best for your needs.

One of the ways that you can have a successful link building campaign is through the use of articles directories. There are many places that accept articles from aspiring writers and publish them on their web site. Once the optimized article is on the article directory, you can place a link under or in the article, depending on where the article is hosted at. Once the search engines see a link from a trusted place pointing at you, this will make you look good and move you up in the search engine results pages, otherwise known as the SERP’s. Once you start to add more articles to the mix, then you will have a greater deal of success in getting a good results in the search engines.

Another way that you can build your links to the new web site up is to make comments on blogs. If you make a comment on a blog, make sure that it is meaningful. Most webmasters do not mind if someone places a legitimate link along with their comments. They only get upset if the comment has nothing to do with the article and adds nothing to the discussion. Some of the blogs that you might try to place a comment with, might have a nofollow tag. A nofollow tag tells the search engine spider that you are not sponsoring this link. There is a big debate on whether Google recognizes the nofollow tag anymore. Some people are still being indexed, even if the nofollow tag is on the site that they link too. We suggest placing a link on those sites anyway, it can not hurt to try.

We have shown you several ways beside of links directory submission that you can start and build up a link campaign for a new web site. It is not that hard to do, but you must be persistent about it. Once you start to see the results from of all of the hard that you did, it will motivate you to make your link campaign bigger and bigger.
